Astronomical Contributions to Research on the Nature of Astrological Phenomena by Irina Predeanu, PhD Mathematics/Astronomy: In this article, which originally appeared in French in the RAMS astrological research journal, Dr Predeanu eloquently presents current scientific realities which validate standard astrological assumptions.  Such writings dispel doubt of the link between astronomy and astrology and the rationality of astrological principles, despite the last remnants of diehard skepticism among both astronomers and astrologers. A Century of Scientific Astrology in France © by Francis Santoni:  In this article, which appeared in a recent issue of the research journal "Les Cahiers du RAMS", the author, who is also the editor and publisher of the journal, outlines the history of scientific approaches to astrology in France, illustrating the thread of continuity that has been carried on by Mr Santoni and colleagues in their continued efforts to integrate science and astrology for the future. Chiang Kaishek & the Kuomintang -- America's Friends?: by Blake Finley, M.A. Linguistics, Cert. Tsunami -- Uranian Astrology Analysis: by Ruth Brummund, Dipl Psych. In this article, Ms Brummund uses the most current and straightforward methods for analyzing  the Tsunami disaster the caused so much grief in southeast Asia in late 2004.  While traditional methods usually hinted at the nature of events in roundabout ways, today's Uranian Astrology identifies its literal nature and effects with straightforward and relatively unequivocal methods. Working with Midpoints in the 22.5° mode: by Blake Finley, M.A. Linguistics, Cert. Teaching: Working in higher harmonics does not require more midpoint dials.  Ludwig Rudolph taught his student, Ruth Brummund, a straightforward technique of working in the 16th harmonic, for greater detail, by using the 90° dial, and Ms Brummund has incorporated this technique in her routine astrological analysis and research.  This article summarizes this approach to midpoint analysis, which allows us to stay focused and continue using the 90° dial, so as to not stray from the core paradigm and frame of reference in our midpoint work. Teaching:  Witte's transneptunians were for years ridiculed by many.  Today's astronomical technology leads us to see that such assertions are in line with astronomical realities...  in Witte's search for Leverrier's hypothesized planet Pluto, he found still other transneptunian bodies, just as today's space telescopes are again doing.
