does not require more midpoint dials. Ludwig Rudolph
taught his student, Ruth Brummund, a straightforward technique
of working in the 16th harmonic, for greater detail, by using
the 90° dial, and Ms Brummund has incorporated this technique
in her routine astrological analysis and research. This
article summarizes this approach to midpoint analysis, which
allows us to stay focused and continue using the 90° dial, so
as to not stray from the core paradigm and frame of reference in
